They didn't see anything that looked wrong so they gave her a shot of Cerenia and some Hills w/d and said to see how she does tonight. She threw up as soon as we got back home. She did drink a little water and kept that down but refuses to eat. The vet just called to check on her and said to bring her back in in the morning if no better and will do further testing. She is laying in the bathroom and doesn't want to come out. I don't know what to do now.
OMG. I am so sorry that you are going through this. I literally went through the exact same thing at the same time last week. It was horrifying, so I know you feel. My little man was throwing up so much (about 6 times) and then threw up some blood and I rushed him to the vet and they checked him into the hospital. They put him on IV and antibotics overnight and then I took him home. Turns out the city put fertilizer on the new trees on the block (one which happens to be right in front of my house) and the doc had said that he probably ingested something poisionous. I was so scared the whole week after he came home but he has been doing fine, back to his old self. I have kept him on a strict diet of baked chicken with white rice and sweet potatoes to settle his stomach and bind him a bit and it has worked wonders. So your little girl will be fine, I just wanted to share my story with you so that you know it will be okay. But I know its scary as hell to live through it.
