Annie was spayed at the end of January. I'd say within a month she had healed up completely no scars and no scar tissue.
Then the second week in March my husband and I were going on vaca to Italy and we had a layover in Chicago to drop her off at my parents. Well at the airport in Newark I noticed this huge lump in the location of her spay area. I was freaking out. My parents took her to a vet in Chicago. The vets there said that it was probably just a residual from her surgery and that it should go away.
Well slowly over a course of a couple of weeks it did go down and away. I didn't even take her to her regular vet for confirmation cause it was going away....
