A lot of the appeal of yorkies to me is there size. There are tons of active, energetic, terriers to choose from if you want a large dog. I chose yorkies because I wanted a fun, spunky dog who was still easy enough to throw in a bag and take on a plane or in the car when I travel. A dog over 10 pounds likely wouldn't fit well with my lifestyle- so for now I stick with my tiny terrors- OOPS! terriers.
