I was told 10-12 months, and I think it matters how they are doing, weight wise,and how much they eat, Bailey was quite the eater,and getting a little portly! SO he didn't need all thats in puppy food, I switched him at 10 months and he was fine.. and still eats like a Little Truck Driver ( one of my Mom's lines.) ha
