No, I agree Vets are not nutritionists but neither am I.
As a responsible pet owner I always have Taycie's health and concern first and foremost and choose to educate myself the best way I know possible. I called my vet to seek advice not to finalize a decision.
I also try to look at things on both sides and try to learn and have an open mind. Obviously, I did read the other side of the argument and while I had a hard time understanding the chemistry side of things, I do see why it could be dangerous to your health.
