Hey I saw Riley today
. He was happy go lucky as was the other sibling that is left at her place, parents still looked good and he looked very healthly and normal. No missing fur or obessive scratching but, I noticed on his ears he has a couple of places, sort of tiny nicks or scabs. I asked her about it and she said it was his littermate picking on him. According to her the other puppy tends to grab onto his ears when they are playing and pulls to hard. She said the marks came from this rough play and it happens sometimes.
I know I am just being paranoid but doesn't mange have scabs? I am not talking about anything oozing or puss filled. I didn't see any hair missing on him or any other doggies on the property. I googled mange for a while and nothing they are describing or picturing looks like what I saw but ugh just bothers me.
Hubby thinks I am being nutzo and worrying myself sick but I can't help it so I thought I would ask if any of you went through that during the whole bite inhibition training thing with littermates? Apparently she bullied all the other puppies to so not just Riley.
He has a well check at the vet on Monday just fyi. I probably won't get to see him again though until next weekend depending on his vet report because she lives about 3 hours away from us.
