Double their weight is as it should be....It appears people are concerned with keeping the pups small.....I've even known vet's to tell owner's that their pups were too fat at 5 months of age......geez! this sends owner's into a frenzy and putting the pups on diet. The most horrible thing you could think of doing...pups need to eat as much as they can....they will loose body fat as they become active. As infants most of their weight gain is milk fat.
Don't seem to have that problem...Butterballs!! (and I love it...lol)
