I think this thread is a great example of how actually communicating with a person can go so much further in helping them to learn than straight up confronting them ever will. This is a written forum, and so, often, one member's passionate efforts to educate come across as confrontational and critical, when that is not really the intent. And it is so easy to become offended when a person's passion blindsides you, especially when you feel it is directed towards you.
I want to applaud each of the members who took a part in this little exchange. With one apology and a little understanding (on both sides) each of you were able to learn a bit more about where the other was coming from. I wish that more threads reached these sort of conclusions, so that
every member could be enriched with the knowledge that the experts on here so obviously possess... without being made to feel angry and defensive.
To the OP: It's so obvious that you genuinely care about your dogs, and that you really want to be the best breeder that you can be. I hope that you eventually come to realize just how much the members here share that love and passion... And how much they can help you along the way to becoming the best possible breeder that you can be. The ladies (and gentlemen) on here have a wealth of knowledge. My advice to you is to keep an open mind so that you can benefit as much as you possibly can from it. I'm sure you'll learn along the way just
why the members on here feel so passionately about the things that they do...
Best of luck and well wishes to all
