I have the same problem with Lizzy. Actually she does it to my friends and family. What has worked for me is to have my friends sternly tell her "no" themselves. It works. I don't know how it will work with children. I had my nieces and their children staying this past weekend, and Lizzy was fine with my nieces and as long as the kids, a 5 and 3 yr old, didn't approach her, she was fine, but when they did come near, she went for them and nipped them several times. I didn't get that problem fixed, the kids just couldn't remember to give her space. She only quit trying to attack them after I squirted her several times with the water bottle. I did have to shake it a few times to remind her not to go after them.
