Be sure you know the delicate balance that has to exist in giving your doggie the right nutrition when home cooking for them. Please do research on this (if you haven't already) and meet with a dog nutritionist.

Quality dog foods are specially formulated to meet those nutritional needs and we may miss them when home cooking. I know I don't have the time or the knowledge to home cook, so I personally don't. However, there are some home cookers on YT! Hopefully some of them will chime in here with some solid advice.
