I understand Stacey's increased security need for driving topless (heeheehee  ) so, I agree this car seat would not be a suitable choice.
However, I would just like to add that one of the best reasons we love the elevated seat that the Snoozer has to offer is because, they are always in full view while I am driving AND best of all, the elevated seat helps dogs who get carsick...like my Bella  Boo! Oh yeh, and also...the dogs love to people watch when all the cars go by and vice versa...we get a lot of smiles in return! |

- and you're right, I don't really trust any type of car seat that is not fully enclosed for those top down days. The trouble is, I can't seem to find one that is really sturdy (and also big enough). My guys are pretty rough on stuff.
I will keep looking .. there has got to be something. Surely, I am not the only one with yorkies & a convertible.
