Please read all of the posts in this thread and others about the many, many perils in the breeding, pregnancy, whelping, infancy and life of these ultra tiny dogs and then search this site for "teacups" and read some more. Search the internet and do more research. You will quickly get your answer as to why people who love the Yorkshire Terrier judge those who breed for anything other than health, full function and conformation to a standard that produces a quality, happy dog. Regarding potential buyers, I think that most reputable breeders want their dogs to go to responsible and loving homes where they can live a healthy and happy
dog's life and not that of a status symbol or fashion accessory. If you will do your due diligence in researching "teacups", I think you, too, will understand why so many people here are against this type of breeding and selling practices.
