I just talked to my dad and we discussed our limited options of getting a female yorkie puppy in the Houma/Thibodaux area. And now he told me he is willing to travel a little further maybe to Lafayette or possibly the Alexandria area. The only thing is that we works offshore 7/7. He leaves for 7 days starting tomorrow. So, we can only go on his week in. I remember a member telling me about a lady in the Bunkie area that is a really good breeder. What are her prices? Because my dad still does not want to pay a fortune for one. $1000 and up is out of the question, but I have seen some advertised around the Lafayette area for about $650. It does not have to have papers. We are not going to breed her. Just a pet. We plan to get her spayed at 6 months old just like Lacey. And we are not searching for the "a tiny one" either. 4 or 5 pounds full grown. I am never going to give my search until I have her. But, I am hoping it does not take a year or more to find her either.
