-Try cutting her hair as short as possible (without butchering it). Sounds like her medicine is keeping the ticks from actually latching on, but nothing will keep them from using her hair as a way to travel. Ticks are bad news... cut her hair or keep her out of the wooded areas. You can also put tick (insect) repellant around your yard. Give it some time to work before letting your dog loose in the yard.
