I agree. I go to a reproduction specialist facility for my vetting and they have told me they will not do it then, and will want to wait at least 4 weeks after they are completely done with their cycle. They are anemic when going through their cycle and they are losing blood, place on top of the surgery and all the blood loss. I would wait. Better safe than sorry.

I'm sure some will do it. Mine doesn't like to spay during a c section due to all the blood loss as well, but there are many vets that will do it.
