I have looked at many, many breeder pages, and never thought badly about a breeder with these pictures. I think it's a great reference for some people to see just how tiny yorkies are when they are born. I think it's amazing to see a tiny puppy in the breeders' hands- I still can't believe how small they are when first born! I like to see the progression of a puppy's development through pictures. To me, it shows that the breeder took the time to document the stages of the puppies' lives. If there were only "For Sale" pictures of the puppy on the website, I might wonder- where was the breeder during the rest of this puppies life?
I also don't see any harm in putting on your site that out of a liter of 3, only 2 will be available for sale. Honestly, I don't see why this would make an ounce of difference to potential buyers.
I really like the idea of putting "testamonials" on your website! You wouldn't get me to agree to have my contact information listed on your site, though. However, either the breeder could give the buyer my email or could forward the buyer's information on to me. |
