[lil louis]

I have never had Louis' hair cut short, so I am afraid to do anything to it. The problem I am having is whenever he pees he gets it on his belly hair. He has the "pee string" but it still gets on his belly. I was thinking about cutting his body hair short and leaving the hair on his head long. I definitely don't want to cut the hair on his face. I am still not sure what to do with the hair on his legs. Does anyone have any suggestions or pics of their dogs with a similar haircut? Here is a current pic of Louis.
