One of my cats had a small bump from her spay. It was right where the knot from her stiches was (right around the middle of her belly). I guess my vet uses some kind of internal dissolvable stiches or something, so we never had to have them removed, but her body formed a little scar tissue capsule around the knot. It mustn't have dissolved corretly.... Her body actually just rejected it and eventually pushed it out and to the surface, and then once I saw it, I just pulled it out and her bump went away.
I took the kitty in to be sure it was nothing. (My vet said she was fine and it happens sometimes). I think it's a good idea to take your pup in. If it's some kind of complication, then they'll catch it.... but if it's normal, at least they can ease your fears! |
