Just found your thread and it is terrifying. I am so glad that your dad bellowed out and stopped Poppy!!! Good for Daddy!!! He is a hero in my book. It all could have ended so differently but because he did what it took and your dog was trained enough to know real authority when she heard it, there was a great ending. Thanks for the post as these stories just keep us reminded of how easy it is for things to happen when we least expect it.
