RIP Elizabeth Taylor. She had such struggles with her health.
I was reading this morning about her AIDS work, and her humanitarian work - for which she received a reward. In her acceptance speech, this is what she said:
"I call upon you to draw from the depths of your being — to prove that we are a human race, to prove that our love outweighs our need to hate, that our compassion is more compelling than our need to blame."
Isn't that lovely? So beautiful.
