Oh dear! That is funny! I didn't even know people kept them as pets. On a side note, my youngest daughter is only 8 and is pretty good at drawing. She draws the cutest little hedgehogs!

We thought eventually he would come around but he is just a grumpy guss. We take him out to socialize him and enjoy him everyday but for the first 20 mins or so he complains loudly by curling up in his ball form and hissing like a snake. After he realizes that yet again no one is gonna eat him he comes on out and can be sweet. Just takes a lot of patience to get to the sweet. I have been pricked by him more times than I care to admit  . |
