Cute story! I've only been seen having full on conversations with Kaji.
I guess the closest we've gotten to being caught is yesterday when I picked him up from doggy daycare. Kaji was so happy to be picked up he was bouncing up and down. I kept asking him to sit, which he would do for a second, then go back to bouncing up and down. I had a Ricky Ricardo moment. I looked at him, and told him in Spanish to please sit still for just one moment while mommy paid for his fun day at daycare. Which of course my little man understood.
The lady checking us out just gave me a weird look and asked, "Your dog is bilingual?"
