That's what I do with my pup when its just growing & isn't quite long enough to reach the top of it's head. It looks a lil strange...like a lil fountain on the front of the head for a month or two. Just remember to take the band out daily & comb through it, to minimize knots & breakage, which defeats the whole growing out process. I have used egg whites to keep a few strays in place during the growing period too. I would just wipe it out with a warm wash cloth and reapply each day I redo the topknot. |
I can defiantly try ! I never thought of just doing the top knot farther forward I spent so long learning how to do it the normal way that i never thought to change it. that may be the answer to all my problems.
