I hear ya!
Our vet is right in the middle with 4 rounds of shots total + rabies and bordetella (kennel cough) is optional. I basically think my vet thinks the 1st set of shots, given by the breeder's vet & not him, doesn't count towards immunity as it was given too early to be effective.
It's difficult to know what to do when you rely on experts to know & they contradict each other. I was also dealing with the fact that due to not having a dog in over three years, moving & starting with a new vet that I hadn't built up any trust in, then add the whole whether to give the lepto vaccine or not & my breeder being 3 hours away in a whole different environment than I am, and it just made it more confusing and stressful.
My pup is ending up with: dhpp, dhpp, dhpp+L, rabies, dhpp+L
