What a nice anniversary gift! You can convince Mason's daddy, just ask for something else first that he won't enjoy that costs more, say a piece of jewelry. My husband hates spending money on jewelry, says it is only enjoyed by the wearer. A puppy is enjoyed by all family members, a shared gift.
