im sure there are new trends in vaccinations and what not...but some people believe in doing what's worked in the past and would rather be safe then sorry...as i have stated before the idea on waiting to vaccinate is reckless in my opinion and yes i have read the comments that its the new study, its whats being practiced now..yada yada yada....sorry no vets i ve spoken to are follow this procedure (does that make them unqualified as vets? i think not)...which after the first time i read a thread on waiting to vaccinate i checked out and did my research..yes ive seen the wesbsite about dr dodd.

i, personally still believe in "old school" MANY MANY..people, breeders, vets, shelter workers still follow the old school procedures with great success

im not looking to debate...ive done that before and you cant get anywhere with it on yt but just putting in my 2 cents
The issue of when to vaccinate is just one reason this breeder's practices were questioned. If you read the thread and review her website and posts in other threads you will see that there are many other issues that were questioned for very good reasons. I've seen threads that become very aggressive against a specific poster and it can get ugly. But in this case, she asked for advice on a couple very elementary breeding issues and then got mad when her breeding practices were called into question. If you are a breeder posting on this forum your "opinions" can be construed as "advice." Two very different thing, IMO. And when that advice goes against what is set out by the YTCA and the AKC I think it is fair to question.
