My one question is, Why should you have to go through this? It is the responsibility of the breeder. Bottom line it is birth defect and should have been caught before you got her.
I know you love her dearly and probably would never give her back, IN that case ALL the money you paid for her should be returned so you can use it to pay for the surgery. The surgery. if done by a qualified specialist, can be very successful.
