Apparently you haven't heard of break away collars and I never said I performed surgery on my dog. Also, the breeders do not allow you to change the chip info. to your name or even add the new owners name. That's the problem!! Seems to me like what another lady said, a great way for breeders to get a free dog to resale or add to their breeding program. And what happens if the breeder dies? Who gets your dog then! No proof that you are the owner. Out of luck I guess!
