I took Herc to the vet for his 12 week shots today (I cried when they stuck him) and he wants to do another fecal test and Pyrantel. He just had these done on 2/18 and I guess I was under the impression that these only need to be done once a year.
How often do these need to be done. Is it a monthly thing? I just don't want him to be put through unnecessary testing as well as not wanting to be charged for tests that he doesn't need.
The vet that did the tests in Feb. isn't the same vet that I use. It was the breeders vet. I thought that maybe he didn't trust their tests and wanted to just do it himself. I don't know what to think. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
