Her mom was 6 pounds and her dad was 4 pounds so I just assumed she would be between 4 and 6 pounds. According to the weight charts, it looks like she'll be lucky to get to 3 pounds (Not that it will change anything. She's a part of our family now and we love her lots). I know the woman I got her from told us she would probably get to be 5 pounds but our vet says probably not. Any chance she will have major growth spurts?
Obviously, no such thing as a teapot either, just an out of standard yorkie- but yes, people lovingly call their dogs who are over 7 pounds "teapots". The weight charts are not always correct, so she could get a little bigger then three pounds- but I wouldn't count on it. Good Luck with her.
