Oh and those of you who don't believe their is such thing as a "TEACUP"... I beg to differ!! As a matter of fact the Veterinarian pointed out, "Anything under the standard weight of a Yorkshire Terrier, would be considered a "TEACUP". Oh and you right, I haven't been on 'YorkieTalk' for a few years, now I remember why! Wink...Wink!!! |
OK so you ask for help and then belittle the people who are offering information and suggestions. You want people to reassure you that bleeding and vomiting can be a result of barking to much? REALLY?? Then you make a snide comments in regards to thanking the people who were just trying to help and were concerned for your dog and for what you were going through? WINK WINK back at YOU. Hopefully you have been so busy with your life doing the proper research yourself to find the correct diet for your dog so that it does not have to have another vomiting/bleeding incident. You obviously have been to busy with your life to research the fact that TEACUP is a marketing tool and not a Yorkshire Terrier size distinction. It is used to increase the selling price of a substandard sized dog. Their are many issues that can be magnified the smaller the dog is. So many people feel that those who breed for undersized Yorkies are not concerned with the health issues that may compromise the dog's quality of life but are more concerned with the ability to sell a novelty item. So yes Teacup is used by people but that does not make it a valid description of size but more of a slang for runt. Sorry but I was honestly offended that you would ask for help and then criticize YT. That being said I am glad your dog is feeling better.
