I just finished grooming Bogie my Biewer and he is a cotton coat and has horrible mats. I kept him in a long coat for over a year and I have to say, he is so much more comfortable with short hair. I love Bogie's look Fuller hair on the legs, short hair in the face and shorter hair around the body...nice I'm going to try that look for Nicky this summer
