I don't know if there is a spray to deter them from going some place, but I know at Wal-Mart I saw a spray that you spray on the pad to coax them into going in the spot you want. I'm sorry I can't remember the name of it, but it was on the shelf with the puppy pads and the carpet spray for pet odors. I'm actually thinking of getting some. If I make it over to the store today I will post the name of the spray.
