Even tho you clean with bleach and detergent...it doesn't get the smell out completely and they can still smell it...I would clean with Natures Miracle...its an odor cleaner and the best...you can get it from petsmart....I would clean with the natures miracle and than clean with bleach water...Bitter Apple is for chewing not potty mistakes.
