I want to thank you both for your replies and expressions of sympathy. My husband and I both spent time on the internet yesterday looking for anything at all that might be negative about the Instinct food and came up with only positive reviews, thank goodness! After reading the article on hypoparathyroidism, I recongnize that her symptoms were right in line with that so maybe that was the root cause. We will start the search for our next baby soon. Neither of us is ready to live without a dog right now. I'll post whenever we find our next little bundle of joy!
