My mom flew with Korean Air from Toronto to Korea and she used a hard case for my 9.5lb mickey. But my mom flew business class so there was more room but she was not allowed to take mickey out.
I've contacted Korean Air regarding animal transport because I will be flying from Korea to Toronto via Korean Air with Coco when i'm done with my contract & they said I can use a soft case as long as its got a frame. the dimension i was given was 115cm (Length+width+height) Which makes no sense because i could have a high bag but really short length & width. So I personally measured it when I flew with Korean Air same route there & back I sat on different sides of the plane and measured it. and bought my carrier according to the height.
When you book your flight, please ask them to seat you where there will be the most under the seat room because some rows have this chunky box below the seats limiting its height.
