I'd try a hypoallergenic shampoo like the one from Espree. Hypoallergenic shampoo's are gentle on the skin and can usually be used as often as necessary.
Also a self rinse shampoo can be used for in between clean ups. There is no need to rinse this off. I like Proline Self Rinse.
