Both of mine are on Interceptor, they won't eat it if given like a treat so I put it in a a teaspoon of canned food and they are none the wiser
Years ago we had a Doberman pup that had whipworms and learned that those things eggs can live in the ground for 6 months after the dog passes it. And since you never know how attentive others are to their dogs health issues so that is why I've always asked for Interceptor when we get our heart worm treatment from the vet.
