When I first got Ranger I was afraid he would wet the bed. The whole crate thing didn't go over so well with my FH, as Ranger would cry for hours upon hours in his crate preventing anyone to get sleep. So we let him sleep with us, and we've never had an incident!
When we first got him we fed him routinely 3 times a day. His last meal was no later than 7 o'clock and we left water for him 24/7 (we noticed he wouldn't drink much water after dinner). Before bedtime he'd go outside to potty, and we always made sure he peed
and pooped before going back inside. I think keeping a schedule kept him on track and prevented any accidents during the night. During the day that was a different story
, but he's growing up now and is 99.9999% potty trained!
