Default Problems with NV Instinct Raw Chicken?

Hi everyone,

I'm sad to report that we lost our precious Zoe on Saturday monrning. She had developed hypocalcemia and also had low blood albumin. She was only sick for one week. I don't want to go into all the sad details but you can imagine that we are just devastated! Here's my question. I had changed her to the above mentioned food on a gradual basis and she was on it exclusively for three weeks prior to getting ill. Have any of you had or heard of any problems like this when feeding this food? Zoe was seven years old and had not experienced any serious health concerns other than pancreatitis. The vet ruled that out on this occasion with a blood test. Her pancreas was fine and her renal levels were fine. I hope I did not cause her illness with this food switch. But if I did, I feel the need to warn others to be aware of the potential problems.

Thanks!
Dena
