Congrats!! | Tail docking is done to prevent tail injury: It is 'illegal' throughout Europe to dock tails...but they have far higher rates of tail injury as well as emergency medical "tail alterations" which is basically a docking but to whatever medically needed length.
They also require ear docking there on many breeds. We don't do it as often here-even on breeds that sometimes medically require it. But I have to say the OP's new addition has a beautiful tail. |
