Humping is not always "sexual" thing it' a dominance thing...even though my dog was neutered (he didn't hump legs etc-which is fa more common in unaltered dogs) if one of the boys fell down or was lying down he'd use the opportunity to hump-also with the neighbor's Chi-this as when we first got him-
The behaviorist explained he as attempting to "establish pack order". He never attempted to hump any adults-with correction-I made a sound he didn't like and would physically stop him-to the behavior and also showing him the kids were above him in the pack-they gave food and toys to him he learned the behavior was unacceptable. |
