I was going to ask this question in the traveling section but the threads there all looked like they were about flying.
Charlie is very nervous about riding in the car he has been since I have had him. does anyone know why he might be or if there is anything that can be done to help him. most dogs will jump in the car and be ready to go but not charlie i have to pick him up and physically put him in the car. then he just shakes I feel so bad for him. the farthest that I go with him is about 60 miles to my moms, at some point during the drive he lays down and looks pitiful but for the first part he is a nervouse wreck. I thought maybe by taking him in the car more it might help but dont want to do this unless it IS helping.
