I know you are still weighting it out. And I think your puppy is very lucky to have you. You wouldn't be searching for information if you are some "irresponsible young people". I also have a feeling that your roommate would have a Huskie at some point in his life. I mean it is his dream dog, isn't it? I know how that feels. And the Huskie he would eventually have is going to have a great life with him. One lucky puppy. After all, you both seem to have your dog’s best interest in mind. So cheer up. I wish you the best.
