We use Interceptor. It appears (only by internet reading and nothing else) that toy breeds tend to do slightly better with it. It also covers whipworms in addition to the things Heartgard Plus covers.

I do now do it for the better dosage because Interceptor is a 4/5 overdose so they can say it controls intestinal parasites. So it is just as much an overdose of drug as Heartgard is...

Both are very good products and you should use what works best for your dogs.
