Just thinking this forum is not likely to be helpful in finding a home. It is a cute dog. I lost my 17 1/2 year old dachshound last year. She was an amazing pet. I think a mix with a basset would be a pretty lovable pet too. I miss her so much. I thought about getting another but Yorkies have stolen my heart and it will probably always be yorkies from now on.
