I left my name and number with the vet's office at lunch today. I've not received a call yet and probably won't. He is not open on the weekends. The receptionist did tell me that they prefer Benadryl over Zyrtec. I asked why and she said it had something to do with the ingredients used in Zyrtec. That is why I asked for the vet to call me back so I could find out the exact reason why the prefer Benadryl.

I think I'm going to try omitting her dry food for a couple of weeks and see if she has developed an allergy to it. I've read where they can sometimes do this.
