My 12 lb guy get one 10mg tablet a day. I would do no more than 1/2 a tablet. Zyrtec really seems to help at our house. This time a year is dreadful for us and our Furbabies. Just remember, it normally takes up to 10 days, before you will be able to notice a change. Don't give up too early.
You could always call your vets office and double check the dosage for your baby. Many use Benedryl also, but Zyrtec gets my vote. I have also hear that one mg per lb is a good dosage, but double check me on that! |
