It is the "best" way for you, but not all feel that way. I feel feeding my dogs a high quality dry and canned food works best for us and currently we are using Nature's Variety and my dogs are doing very well on this food. If you want to home cook for your dogs then I suggest you do all the research that you can so you know that your dogs are getting everything they need to thrive. If you choose to go the kibble route than I suggest that you research a few different companies and request samples to see which one your pup likes the best. Good Luck!
