If they're that close in coverage and cost, I'd stay where you are. Switching to a new company may involve a waiting period where she'd be without coverage, and her ear infection would definitely be considered a pre-existing condition with them at least for a while.

Can I ask what you meant by a $300 monthly deductible? I've never heard of a monthly deductible and that sounds really high.
